Accredited as an "R&D Center" by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2021, we continue to advance the productive, innovative, and entrepreneurial structure that has defined our company since its foundation—now in a more systematic and institutionalized manner.

The primary objective of the Erkunt R&D Center is to shape the company's future by leveraging its innovation capability, which provides a significant competitive advantage. By closely following global developments, the Center focuses on generating technological and scientific projects aimed at innovation in the foundry industry and strengthening international competitiveness. It develops new products and alternative technologies based on patents and utility models, executes value-added projects in collaboration with domestic and international universities and technoparks, and actively participates in knowledge networks.

Home to more than 30 researchers who are experts in their fields—many holding master's and doctoral degrees across multiple disciplines—the Erkunt R&D Center manages new product concepts aligned with customer needs through the "Stage-Gate" methodology, a globally recognized framework for R&D project governance. Within this system, all project ideas undergo a structured evaluation funnel, where both technical and commercial aspects are continuously and comprehensively assessed. This approach ensures the implementation of strategically aligned innovative ideas and contributes directly to customer satisfaction.

In addition to self-funded projects, the Erkunt R&D Center has submitted 12 national and international patent and utility model applications to date, with ongoing studies and new applications in progress. The Center also presents papers and publications across various disciplines at national and international congresses, conferences, and symposiums, and continues to contribute to scientific and technological advancement in these areas.
